State Rep. Aaron Schock, who is running for Congress, will speak today at the GOP National Convention in Minnesota. Schock will be allotted two minutes for his remarks, which tentatively are scheduled for sometime between 5:20 and 5:40 p.m. Thursday. McCain’s acceptance speech is expected between 9 and 10 p.m.

Gov. Blagojevich's mysterious decision to give $1 million to a politically connected private school hit another glitch Wednesday when city officials said new elementary classrooms built with the money were not fit for students. Blagojevich has said his intention was for the money to go to the church's administrative offices but bureaucrats mistakenly awarded $1 million to Loop Lab School.

The former New York City mayor and keynote speaker wasted little time Wednesday night before attacking Obama's inexperience. "On the other hand, you have a resume from a gifted man with an Ivy League education," Giuliani said of Obama. "He worked as a community organizer, and immersed himself in Chicago machine politics. Then he ran for the state legislature, where nearly 130 times he was unable to make a decision yes or no. He simply voted 'present.'"
